Originally posted on Reddit I am looking for objective feedback on my crown progress. The Protocol: I started the Roman 3-in-1 topical solution on August 20th and have been consistent. Finasteride: 0.3% Minoxidil: 6% Tretinoin: 0.025% Adjunct Treatment: I’ve also been using a 0.25 mm dermaroller a couple of times per week. The Timeline: ~1 month (Sept 17) ~2 months (Oct 22) Today (4 months mark) My Questions: Microneedling: Is 0.25 mm deep enough to matter for regrowth, or should I be going deeper? Switching Meds: For crown thinning specifically, has anyone seen better results switching from topical to oral Finasteride, or moving to Dutasteride? I know the crown is slow to respond, but I'm trying to decide if I should stay the course or adjust now.
